Foster care provides dependent children with a structured, supportive and safe environment in a caring foster home; while the Specialized Foster Care program serves as an alternative to institutional, residential, and group home care for youth who cannot return home to their families.

RAVENHILL CARP

(Males, Ages 11-21)

Ravenhill’s Community Adjustment & Reintegration Program (CARP) supports youth (ages 11-21) transitioning from residential treatment after adjudication for sexual offenses. It provides case management, therapy, monitoring, and community reintegration services over six months, addressing risk factors and promoting stability.

CARP-ID provides intensive case management and forensic counseling for youth adjudicated for sexually problematic behaviors. This 12-month program offers structured monitoring, therapy, and community support, helping youth reduce risk, meet treatment goals, and successfully reintegrate into their communities.

RAMP PA FORENSICS

(Male and Female, Ages 10-21)

Ravenhill’s Accountability and Mentoring Program (RAMP) is a six-month mentoring program for adjudicated delinquent youth (ages 10-21). It provides intensive mentoring, therapy, and case management to support decision-making, emotional regulation, employment skills, and community reintegration while reducing recidivism.

RAVENHILL SEX OFFENDER
TREATMENT PROGRAM

(Male, Ages 18+)

Ravenhill’s SOTP groups meet weekly for ninety minute sessions. Groups are intensive and focus on behavioral goals as well as emotional and psychological development. Specifically, clients are required to take full responsibility for past sexually based offenses and to resolve any underlying contributing emotional issues. Individual Sessions are also utilized as needed to support treatment.

RAVENHILL BATTERER'S
INTERVENTION PROGRAM

(Male, Ages 18+)

Ravenhill’s BIP program is a 26-week curriculum-based program adhering to the standards set by the Bucks County Batterer Intervention Programs Organizing Committee (BIPOC) and attempts to stop all tactics of abuse and change batterers’ attitudes towards women and battering. Throughout treatment perpetrators are held accountable for their violent behavior, while at the same time strategies are developed to both monitor and contain their behavior to ensure victim and/or current partner’s safety. Group intervention is the primary treatment modality.

RAVENHILL INTEGRATED ANGER MANAGEMENT

(Male and Female, Ages 18+)

The Integrative Anger Management program for adults (I-AM) is a modular individual curriculum for men and women who have come to the attention of the court as a result of aggressive emotional responses to stressors in daily life. Through the provision of psycho-educational information, I-AM promotes effective emotional regulation and self-betterment. Upon referral, individuals will participate in a self-paid intake assessment to determine the appropriateness of acceptance in the program.

Ravenhill offers a variety of specialized Forensic and Psychological Evaluation Services including: Full Psychological Evaluation, Mental Health Screening, Protective/Parental Capacity, Competency Evaluation, Psychosexual Evaluation, Violence/Risk Assessments.

PFA OUTPATIENT

ADOLESCENT
(Male and Female, Ages 13-varies)

Over 20 years experience with both Adult and Juvenile Treatment for Sexual and other Criminal Behaviors. Approved SOAB Treatment Provider. Treatment Groups and Individual Sessions provided in both our Reading and Bethlehem offices. Bilingual services available. Experienced, Trained Staff for the specific population served, including Trauma Focused Training.

PFA OUTPATIENT

ADULT
(Male and Female, Ages varies-99+)

Over 20 years experience with both Adult and Juvenile Treatment for Sexual and other Criminal Behaviors. Approved SOAB Treatment Provider.  Participate in Department of Corrections (DOC) grant for Treatment Funding. Full scale of Evaluations including Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations, Treatment Groups, Psychoeducational Groups, and Individual Sessions provided in both our Reading and Bethlehem offices. Bilingual services available. Experienced, Trained Staff for the specific population served, including Trauma-Focused Training. Groups for Sex Offenders, Batterers/Violence Prevention/Anger Management, Protective Parenting, Non-offending Parenting, and Cognitive Behavioral Intervention.

IN-HOME SERVICES

Our In-Home Program provides therapeutic care and counseling for at-risk youth, addressing mental health, behavioral issues, and family conflicts. Through strengths-based support, we help youth build healthier futures, strengthen family relationships, and reduce the risk of future offenses.

NURSE FAMILY PARTNERSHIP - BERKS/SCHUYLKILL

(Expectant mothers and child, until child’s second birthday)

Evidence-based home visitation provided by specially trained registered nurses. The goals of the program are to:
-Improve pregnancy outcomes
-Improve child health and development
-Improve the economic self-sufficiency of the family model designed for first-time expectant mothers.

PARENTS AS TEACHERS - READING (BERKS)

(Latino families expecting or parenting children ages Birth-Grade K)

Evidencedbased home visitation provided by Parent Educators with a degree Early Childhood, Human Services or related degree. Bilingual staff. Model provides individualized home visits, group activities, child screenings and resource/support system development.

EAT, PLAY, GROW - READING (BERKS)

(Latino families parenting children ages 2-6)

Childhood obesity prevention program with the following goals:
-Increase parental knowledge about factors contributing to childhood obesity
-Improve diet of children
-Increase physical activity of children
-Increase community awareness of childhood obesity
Program delivered by home visitors with a degree in human services (nursing and Human Development). Bilingual providers. Research project with control and treatment groups.

ELECT - BERKS

(Expecting or parenting teens, Ages <21 years old)

The ELECT program is to meet the varied needs of pregnant and parenting teens. Pregnant and parenting teens enrolled in school or desiring to enroll in school. BCIU completes reporting on outcomes and monitors adherence to program standards. CPP has two case managers; one in Reading High and one providing Fatherhood Initiative throughout the County.

DRUG FREE COMMUNITIES - READING (NE BERKS)

(Community at large)

This is a community-based coalition focused on reducing the use of alcohol and marijuana in the Northeast area of the City of Reading. Project involves community education, outreach, youth engagement, technical support. The targeted population includes: the residential area of Northeast Reading, Reading High, the Intermediate High School, Northeast Middle School and the elementary schools located in the Northeast.

(Adult mental health consumers)

Circle of Friends Drop-In Center offers social, recreational, and support services for adults 18+ with mental health or substance abuse challenges. Services include meals, counseling, life skills training, and peer support in a welcoming, community-driven environment.

KIDS AGAINST PRESSURE - READING (BERKS)

(Grades 3rd-5th, Reading School District)

The Kids Against Pressure (KAP) afterschool program focuses on developing character education, learning conflict resolution, enhancing self-esteem and developing social skills to build positive peer relationships. Weekly after school classes in six classrooms. Two week full day Summer Camp in June.

PARENT PARTNER - BERKS

(Children in any of the child-serving systems)

The Parent Partner Program provides education, training, and information are provided to parents with children involved in the child-serving systems in Berks County.
Parent Partner provides:
-Mentoring for parents as they navigate the child-serving systems
-Advocacy
-Resource and referrals to build support system
-Translation for Spanish speaking families
-Face-to-face meetings, phone calls, e-mails and texts to parent/guardians
-Attendance at meetings such as IEP meetings, guidance meetings etc.
Parent advocate is bi-lingual with life experience in child-serving system.
